What is National Infertility Awareness Week?
What is National Infertility Awareness Week?

Approximately 1 in 8 couples struggle with infertility in the U.S. For many, they do so alone. RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association aims to bring awareness to infertility and that’s why they started the National Infertility Awareness movement celebrated during the last full week of April every year. This year it takes place from April 23rd through 29th.

NIAW started in 1989 as a movement to raise awareness for infertility and the many causes. Misinformation and myths are everywhere online regarding infertility and the NIAW movement works to put a stop to that as well as show support for those dealing with fertility struggles. To learn more about RESOLVE’s commitment to infertility awareness and how to get involved, visit the NIAW website.

For NIAW, Reach Fertility Center in Charlotte, Lake Norman and Ballantyne will be sharing ways that you can get involved and show your support for NIAW! Stay tuned!
