Post Contraception Implantation Testing

REACH offers specially trained physicians and staff who can easily and quickly perform the Hysterosalpingogram (HSG) confirmation testing required after a woman has undergone the implantation of a permanent contraceptive device such as the Essure® devices. The Hysterosalpingogram (HSG) procedure can be conveniently performed each weekday in our office in Charlotte.

The HSG is used to determine if your ovarian tubes have been sufficiently occluded (blocked) preventing the ability of the transport of the egg between the ovary and the uterus, thus preventing pregnancy. If you have recently undergone the Essure® procedure, and have not yet scheduled your HSG confirmation test, we at REACH would be happy to schedule the test with our providers.
