Dr. Matrika D. Johnson

Dr. Matrika D. Johnson completed her undergraduate training at Davidson College, North Carolina, where she was a Davidson Scholar. She graduated with a degree in Spanish and was inducted into the Phi Beta Delta International Honor society. She earned her medical degree from Wright State University and received the Janet C. Thompson Memorial Scholarship Award. Dr. Johnson completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Washington University in St. Louis where was she served as a board member for the Residents and Fellows Diversity Initiative.

After residency, Dr. Matrika Johnson completed a Research Fellowship at Case Western Reserve University followed by fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Magee-Womens Hospital of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. In addition to her clinical training, she also earned a Certificate in Clinical Research and contributed to publication of three peer-reviewed papers. She also earned Second Place Outstanding Paper at the Pacific Coast Reproductive Society 63rd Annual Meeting in 2015 for her research on the effects of cyclophosphamide on male fertility outcomes. Dr. Johnson is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and board eligible in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.

Dr. Johnson is an avid runner who also enjoys musical arts, international travel, and spending time outdoors.
